The Evidence Behind the Care
Clinical decisions should be guided by the best available evidence, the individual patient’s presentation, professional judgment, and the patient’s goals and preferences.
Evidence-Informed, Not Technique-Driven
Spinal manipulation can be an appropriate component of care for selected patients, but it is not the answer to every musculoskeletal complaint. Current clinical guidelines frequently place manipulation and mobilization alongside exercise, rehabilitation, education, and other nonpharmacologic approaches.
